The 2016 May Newsletter can be found here.

Lots of news and photos from our exciting month of PFLAG activities and events. Don’t miss the story about the PFLAG & GSA presentation to the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners for Upstanders Week, which we have made an annual event in the county. And the great job Taft High students are doing in their statistics class in measuring bullying behavior. PFLAG OCC helped them out with a mini-grant.

This month’s PFLAG meeting on May 11 will include a discussion about the pro’s and con’s of visibility for LGBT people and issues. Be there and participate!

Thanks again to Nel Ward, our multi-talented newsletter editor. We so appreciate her commitment and dedication to LGBT causes and people.

We greatly appreciate the hard work and dedication of our editor, Nel Ward! We could use your help and support for about 30 min. on Wed., April 13 at 9:30 AM at the Board of Commissioners meeting in the Courthouse on Olive St. in Newport. The Commissioners will be presenting PFLAG and the GSA kids with a Proclamation of Upstander Week in Lincoln County. Ineka and the GSA kids will share some of their experiences with helping their schools eliminate bullying and build a healthy school climate. Hope you can be there to be “PFLAG’s Posse” at this annual event. The BOC meeting room is right near the entrance in the back parking lot. Hope to see you there!
