The February edition of our newsletter can be found at this link.  Thanks to Nel Ward, our dedicated editor.

It’s a busy month, so add these dates to your calendar:

Wed., Feb. 4 at 9:30 am Upstander Week Proclamation at the Commission Chamber at the Courthouse.  Please come to be an Upstander with PFLAG and students from Newport schools.

Sun., Feb. 8 from 2-4 pm is our Annual Love is Love Valentine Party.  See more info in the newsletter and on our Facebook group.

Sun. & Mon. Feb. 8 & 9 at the PAC in Newport is PRIDE, the film about a LGBT group in London who raise money to support Welsh miners in the early 1980’s.  The resulting culture clash and reconciliations are deeply touching.  A MUST-SEE film!

Tues., Feb. 10 from 4-6 pm at Georgie’s is a monthly Happy Hour for LGBTQ folks and our allies.  This is a fun gathering–join us!

Wed., Feb. 11 from 6-7:30 pm is our monthly PFLAG meeting at St. Stephen’s Church at SW 9th & Hurbert in Newport.  We’ll watch the last half of the Alan Turing documentary.

Sat., Feb 14 from 5-7 pm is a special Out on the OR Coast Happy Hour at the Embarcadero.

See the calendar on p. 7 for more dates and details.  If you can’t access the pdf version of the newsletter, please see our PFLAG OCC website at www.occpflag.org
